Sorry Mac – I’m with Rob on this one… Believe me, I like minimalistic, but it’s WAY to bland.

Also, people’s eyes don’t get strained as much (ie they’ll stay on your site longer) if they read content in COLUMNS..

Having your post pages around 800 pixels wide makes your reader want to SKIM rather than READ. Just a suggestion.

not so much a fan I’m afraid – looks much more generic, cold and bland than before. Also, because of the way the comments are spaced out the pages end up being much longer to scroll down.

Thanks Adnan. I’m glad you enjoy the spontaneous posts. Whenever I get the urge I’ll probably still post those types of posts. They are hard to resist

We’ll see how it goes. My goal was to take a little pressure off of myself. Sometimes I’ll think “I have to do a blog post today” after 3 or 4 days pass without a post. That’s when I think I write the worst posts. I’m going to try to keep it on both ends of the spectrum: very well planned posts and mix in some totally spontaneous ones.

I like the new design Adam; it’s simple, clean and focuses on the content which I guess in a weblog is the most important element.

I’m kind of sad that you won’t be updating as much though. Even though I don’t comment as much as I’d like, I’m an avid reader/follower and read every single one of your posts – I find it helpful to read about the day-to-day emotions/problems/moments of inspiration that a young, startup entrepreneur faces, and I really feel I can relate to your journey and will hopefully experience a similar journey with a company of my own.

I guess what I’m trying to say is…feel free to keep giving us spontaneous posts. It adds character to the website, and gives us an insight into your world. And it’s what makes a great blog like yours, a great blog.

Thanks Oke. I definitely tried to keep it simple, which is why I love the Dylan theme I linked to. It’s the best simple & modern theme I’ve seen, a great starting point for any blog design.

I’m looking forward to being a little more in-depth. That isn’t to say that every post will be longer, but I’ll definitely be putting a little more time into my researching and editing.

Plus I’ll still try to do the spontaneous post from time to time. Those are always fun, but very hit or miss with the reads and comments.

I like your new design. I have grown to understand that keeping it simple is the best design. The content is everything. I am also working out a better or should I say quality of post. The post may be longer, but I feel it will be better for whoever is reading my post.

I can’t wait to read your in depth articles. Keep them coming.
