Umm, the whole tone of the "letter" was sarcastic and not meant to be taken 100% seriously.

I've mentioned him a few other times because I've always wondered what it takes for me to outrank him when you Google "Adam McFarland". He clearly hasn't updated his site in years, yet continues to outrank me so jokingly I take a shot at him here and there. I am not "making fun" of him or don't dislike him or anything like that - I've never met him so I really can't say. Seems like a solid guy though.

Do you personally know the guy on adam-mcfarland.com to be a tool? Otherwise, I'm wondering why you're making fun of someone you don't even know.

I have absolutely no idea how they got this much attention. Especially mainstream media attention. Wikia, MyLiveSearch, and others are more intriguing to me. Of course, none still hold a candle to G!

That's actually pretty funny. Maybe Pure Adapt should adopt the skull as per Cuil's suggestion. Nice sort'a evil feel to it.

{BTW: I searched sports lizard & got the home page}

To make a cranky post back to school, can I suggest: 'How did Cuil get all that attention?' They're not the 1st SE to launch since G!. Because they're Google renegades? Do they have an awesome PR company?
