Thanks Nev – I just took HoR for a spin and it’s definitely blazing fast.

The new server is up and running, now it’s just a matter of the config and moving the sites.

Looks like I’m in for some fun the next few days

I’ve been on a dedicated server for roughly 6 years now and I think you’ll actually prefer it.

HouseOfRave was on a shared hosting plan for a little while, but the free videos racked up tons of bandwidth charges for the hosting company and they forced me into a dedicated server.

It was actually a GREAT move. Now HouseOfRave covers all my hosting charges as a business expense, and the server has plenty of space and resources to host all my other sites for free.

Last weekend I moved to yet a bigger server….everything’s SO much faster. I feel like a kid in a candy store (well..sort of)!

Good luck with the move, there’s always some little issues here and there, but I’m sure you’ll clean them all up in a day or two.
